Founded by filmmaker Yann Demange, Wayward Films is a talent-led, international film and television production company with a multicultural lens.

Wayward Films works with artists to cultivate stories for a global audience, believing firmly in the commerciality of a diverse landscape of content. Operating in the U.K. and the U.S., Wayward Films collaborates with filmmakers and producers in both markets and across the globe.

Meredith Duff

Growing up in Minneapolis, Meredith appreciated the power of great stories to expand one’s understanding of the world. She started her career at ICM Partners in the Motion Picture Literary & International Sales divisions. Before joining Wayward, Meredith was most recently a Development Executive at Cinereach where she oversaw a robust slate working with emerging and established filmmakers across official productions and grant supported initiatives.

Yann Demange

Growing up in London as a man of mixed heritage, Yann has always been passionate about telling unexpected stories. Yann made a name for himself as a filmmaker in the U.K. on productions like TOP BOY and ‘71, for which he received the British Independent Film Award for Best Director. Transitioning to working in the U.S., Yann most recently directed the feature film WHITE BOY RICK (Sony) and the television drama, LOVECRAFT COUNTRY (HBO).

Sarah Sullivan

Born and raised in NYC, Sarah graduated from Columbia University with a concentration in Film Studies. After interning at HBO and Focus Features, she went on to develop and produce a variety of projects, ranging from commercials and music videos, to shorts and feature films - working at and with companies like Smuggler, Symbolic Exchange, Topic Studios, Warner Bros., MGM, Makeready etc. Prior to Wayward, she worked across development and management at Cinetic Media.
